About My Challenge

I’m lucky. I had a great childhood. I have a wonderful husband, an incredible kid, a loving family, and friends who show up. I actually like my job, most days. And I have my mind and my health, as much as any middle-aged, menopausal woman can.

And yet, sometimes brains are weird. Sometimes all of that still feels like it isn’t enough. Depression and mental health don’t always make sense, and they don’t care how good things look from the outside.

This February, I’m challenging myself to focus on both my fitness and my mental health. If you’re able, I’d love for you to donate or join me. And if all you do is read this, that still matters. It means you took a moment to care about me, and I want you to know that I care about you too.

Please don’t be silent. You are cared for. You are loved. Reach out. We’ll get through it together.

Supporting CMHA Ontario - Waterloo Wellington

Make a Difference with The Push-Up Challenge

When you fundraise for CMHA Waterloo Wellington through The Push-Up Challenge, you’re helping people access the mental health services they need—and deserve.

“I was scared of change and afraid of being labelled. I thought a diagnosis would define me forever. But getting help was the turning point.”

Thanks to CMHA WW, lives are transformed. One participant shared how a simple text from a CMHA WW worker led to counselling, support, and a renewed sense of hope. Today, they have a strong care network and a deeper understanding of their mental health—and their family is more informed too.
