About Our Challenge
Thank you for visiting our donation page.
In February, our team is taking part in The Push‑Up Challenge, committing to complete a whole lot of push‑ups between February 5–27, 2026. We’re doing this to push for better outcomes for people living with mental illness and to bring attention to the growing mental health crisis in Canada.
This year, our team name is “For Kennedy.” We are not just a team—we are a community honouring a beautiful soul who struggled deeply with mental illness and tragically lost a hard‑fought battle last year. Kennedy’s memory guides us through every part of this challenge. We keep her story front and centre as a reminder of why this work matters and who we’re doing it for.
We’re taking on this challenge to raise awareness, to encourage open conversations, and to help ensure that others can access the support they need before they reach a crisis point. No one should have to face mental illness alone, and together we can make it easier for people to talk, to reach out, and to find help.

All proceeds go directly to the Canadian Mental Health Association, helping fund mental illness recovery and fostering positive mental health across Canada.

Make a Difference with The Push-Up Challenge
When you fundraise for CMHA Waterloo Wellington through The Push-Up Challenge, you’re helping people access the mental health services they need—and deserve.

Thanks to CMHA WW, lives are transformed. One participant shared how a simple text from a CMHA WW worker led to counselling, support, and a renewed sense of hope. Today, they have a strong care network and a deeper understanding of their mental health—and their family is more informed too.

Every dollar you raise helps someone take a step toward recovery:
- $100 → Supplies for a peer-led art program
- $150 → One eating disorder intake assessment
- $250 → Crisis support for three people via Here 24/7
- $500 → One early psychosis treatment plan
- $1,000 → Group therapy session for ten people
