About My ChallengeThis is my second year participating in the Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness for mental health.
Since 2020, I’ve battled PTSD and other mental health struggles, which ultimately meant I couldn’t return to my career. Rather than letting that define me, I chose to channel my experience into something positive. I went back to school to pursue a Therapeutic Recreation diploma/degree, hoping to educate myself, and others on how recreation, nature, play, mindfulness, and meditation can not only support mental health recovery but also help prevent issues before they start—especially for first responders and others in high-risk occupations.
From February 11 to 28, I’ll be completing 2,000 push-ups in 18 days to support the Canadian Mental Health Association. This year, I’m not looking for donations—I’m looking for people to join me. If you want to challenge yourself and help start important conversations about mental health, let’s do this together! 💪 #PushForBetter #MentalHealthMatters

Day 3 is for CMHC Kamloops, a city I’ve called home since 2015. 2nd yr. doing the challenge & first time missing a day (D1). Did 100 on D2, now D3 I need 167 just to catch up. Word from the wise, don’t miss a day 😖! -$100 for 100
