Workplaces

Be part of the push for better. Help your organisation aim for better mental and physical health in the workplace.

Push with us in 2024

Sign your workplace up for The Push-Up Challenge.

The Push-Up Challenge is a unique, fun way for organisations to encourage better mental health and wellbeing through connection, physical activity and education.

Prioritising the mental and physical health of your workmates will be one of the best things your organisation can do this year.

A recent study involving 1.24 million people found that those who participate in exercise have fewer days of poor mental health per month.

Next steps

1. Register your organisation as a community/ team and invite your branches and colleagues to join your community/ team.
2. Ensure your colleagues have downloaded the Push for Better app.
3. Start pushing on February 1, 2024!

The Challenge

You and your workmates will be challenged to complete 2,000 push-ups over 23 days in February, as we put a spotlight on the 20% of Canadians who experience mental illness each year.
We know - that's a lot of push-ups. But don't panic, any exercise goes, plus you can aim for a portion of the push-up target instead.
