2,000 Push-Ups for Mental Health — For Those We’ve Lost

This February, I’m joining the Push-Up Challenge with my Cummins team to support the Canadian Mental Health Association and to #pushforbetter.

Mental health is not an abstract cause for me, it’s deeply personal. When I was 9 years old, my dad, Gérard, died by suicide. A few years ago, my cousin Guillaume also took his own life. These losses shaped my life in ways that are hard to put into words, and they are a constant reminder of how vital it is to talk about mental health, to remove stigma, and to make sure people know they are not alone.

From February 5 to 27, I’ll be completing 2,000 push-ups as a way to honor their memory and to support others who may be struggling, silently or openly. This challenge is about more than physical effort; it’s about starting conversations, showing solidarity, and helping fund resources that truly make a difference.
