Nervous, Determined, and Still Pushing

Depression runs in my family, and seasonal affective disorder (SAD) is something my loved ones battle year after year—so mental health is very personal to me. That’s a big reason I’m taking on The Push‑Up Challenge.

I’m also on a mission to get stronger and improve my health. I’ll be honest: this challenge makes me a little nervous. 2,000 push-ups is a lot of push-ups. But with determination, questionable form some days, and a healthy dose of squats when my arms need a break, I’m committed to seeing it through.

I’m completing 2,000 push-ups from February 5–27 to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. Thanks for supporting me as I #pushforbetter—one shaky rep at a time.
