About Our Challenge
This February, the Keel Over Achievers — a crew of engineers from Weir Marine Engineering (NETE) — are stepping away from designing systems for Canada’s Navy and dropping to the deck for The Push‑Up Challenge (February 5–27, 2026).
We’re used to solving complex engineering problems, working to tight tolerances, and keeping ships upright and operational — so naturally, we decided the best way to support mental health was to voluntarily exhaust ourselves with a heap of push‑ups. Overachievers? Absolutely. Likely to keel over? Also possible.
We’re pushing through sore arms and questionable life choices to raise awareness and funds for mental health, because resilience, teamwork, and looking out for one another matter just as much off the shipyard floor as they do on it.
You can help keep us afloat by joining our crew or donating to the team. Every push‑up and every dollar raised goes to the Canadian Mental Health Association, supporting mental illness recovery and positive mental health outcomes across Canada.
