About Our Challenge

Welcome to the Northwest Atlantic Strength Division!

We’re a group of employees from across Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s NL Region who have come together to take on The Push‑Up Challenge—a nationwide effort that promotes physical wellness, connection, and important conversations about mental health.

From February 5–27, participants across the country are working toward 2,000 push‑ups in 23 days while learning daily mental‑health facts and supporting a meaningful cause. We’re proud to represent our region as we push together, support each other, and strengthen our sense of community—one rep at a time.

Whether you’re doing classic push‑ups, modified push‑ups, sit‑ups, squats, or any other approved variation, everyone is welcome and every push counts. Our team is united by enthusiasm, teamwork, and the spirit of friendly competition.
