About Our Challenge
Over the past few years, the veterinary field has been facing its own mental health challenges. A 2019 study from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revealed that both female and male veterinarians were significantly more likely to die by suicide compared to the general population. Another 2020 study found that vets are also experiencing higher levels of anxiety and depression.It's crucial that we work to break the stigma around mental health and encourage our loved ones to seek support when they need it. In February, our Team is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are challenging ourselves to complete a heap of push-ups between February 5-27, 2026 to push for better mental health outcomes in Canada.

All proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada.
