About My Challenge
I’m doing this for the people closest to me. My friends. My family. And the many actors I work with every day. This is an industry built on emotion, vulnerability, and resilience. I’ve seen firsthand how talented, hardworking people can still struggle quietly. The highs and lows are real. And so are the mental health challenges that come with them.
Over the years, I’ve watched people I care about navigate anxiety, depression, burnout, and self-doubt. Some openly. Some privately. It’s reminded me that mental health isn’t a side issue. It’s part of real life, especially in creative work where you’re constantly putting yourself out there.
That’s why I’m taking on this challenge.
I’m completing 2,000 push-ups in 23 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association. From February 5 to 27, I’m pushing for better support, better conversations, and better outcomes.
If you’re able, I’d be grateful for your support. Let’s show up for the people who need it.
