About My Challenge

Not-so-positive mental states have impacted my life and the lives of close family members. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that stigma is one of the biggest barriers to mental health recovery.

Stigma is like a shadowy accomplice that amplifies the impact of the moods that steal life from our days and, sometimes, even days from our lives.

I’m completing 2,000 push-ups in 18 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). From February 11–28, I’ll be pushing for better, and I’d love your support.

The northern BC CMHA branch will be the recipient of the funds raised through this challenge. As I push for better, please join me in supporting others who deserve the help that can change their lives.

Dedicated to: My kids who I hope skip scourge of mental health challenges.
