Depot Works
Team,
This February, a few of us are taking part in the 2,000 Push-Up Challenge to raise awareness for mental health. It’s a simple idea: break 2,000 push-ups into manageable pieces over the month, and use it as a reminder that looking after our mental well-being deserves the same steady, daily effort as staying physically fit.
Why join?
Because it’s one of those rare challenges where you can support a good cause, get a bit stronger, and maybe even end up with bragging rights in the lunchroom. Plus, it’s a good excuse to step away from the desk for two minutes at a time. Who doesn’t need that?
You can tackle the 2,000 as an individual, or team up with a couple of coworkers and split the load. No gym memberships, no special gear, and no need to be in peak shape. If your push-ups look more like “strong suggestions toward the floor,” that still counts. The goal is participation and awareness, not perfection.
If you’re interested in joining in—or just want to track along quietly and hit the number on your own—let me know. The more Depot folks involved, the better.
Let’s put in the reps for a good cause.
