About Our Challenge
In February, our Team is taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are challenging ourselves to complete a heap of push-ups between February 5-27, 2026 to push for better mental health outcomes in Canada.
Help us push for better mental health in Canada by joining us or donating to our team! Even if you can only do 5 pushups a day, this helps add to our overall goal of 2,000 pushups total in 22 days! Whew that's a lot of pushups!!
All proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada. I (Alexandra) chose that our Team will support the local Kelowna branch of the CMHA, so if you want to join a team that supports your local mental Health association instead I totally respect that!
Remember: we push up to remind others not to give up! Mental health is heath. You are not your sickness. There is help, and you are not alone. CMHA Kelowna & District creates opportunities and connections for people of all ages to understand and nurture their mental health and well-being. Through the creation of innovative programs and supports, we help people develop skills and resilience so they can live their best lives possible.
In 2026, we’re aiming to expand vital services to West Kelowna to reach more youth, adults and families in need of mental health support. Help us push for better mental health so everyone in our region can thrive.
