Perry Block, pushup enthusiast!! 8)
Hey everyone! I’m excited to take on the push-up challenge again this February. Last year, I set a goal of doing 300 push-ups a day, which ended up totaling around 5400 push-ups, and raising over $1000 for the suicide prevention association! This time, I’m planning to challenge myself even more with a goal of 500 push-ups a day. I’m looking forward to the journey and would love to hear about your goals and experiences.
Last year my donations went to the Canadian mental health Association, but specifically the suicide prevention portion. I chose it because the stats of suicide in Canada are purely tragic. I truely believe that awareness of the tragic loss of life in this country can have significant positive effect by our community coming together. Even if it’s just doing pushups.
This is a wonderful platform to show our humanity isn't lost. Its just a few pushups away.
