Kendra Ferris

Eat good. Get strong.

I'm working on the get strong part of the team motto. Mental and physical strength go hand in hand. When I'm consistent with my exercise, my brain is a much more settled, balanced place.

My big goal is to be able to do 10 pull ups by the time my daughter is old enough to see and remember. I want to show her that she can do anything.

To help me train, I'm doing push ups. I loathe push ups but someone keeps telling me that they're the perfect exercise. So I'm toughing it out and completing 2,000 push-ups in 18 days to raise awareness.

All funds go towards the Canadian Mental Health Association. Please support me as I #pushforbetter from February 11-28.

All proceeds help the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health in Canada.
