About My Challenge
This February, I’m choosing to push.
I push for myself. I push for you.
I push for those who suffer in silence because I’ve been there to. I’ve seen firsthand how mental health struggles affect friends, family, how hard it is to want to help but don’t always know how, or simply can’t.
Most of us have either faced mental health challenges ourselves or know someone who has. No one should have to carry that weight alone.
Mental health isn’t a weakness or something to “get over” it’s part of being human and it deserves care.
Many of us carry invisible battles behind our smiles. Some days are lighter, others feel heavy, but every step forward takes courage.
This fundraiser isn’t just about raising money. It’s about breaking the silence, ending stigma, and reminding people they’re not alone. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength, and while healing isn’t always linear, it is always possible
From February 5th to 27th, I’m pushing to make a difference and to help raise money for the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA).
CMHA has personally supported me during one of the most difficult times in my life by covering the cost of 10 therapy sessions. As many of you know, therapy isn’t cheap — sessions can range from $120–$180 each. That’s over $1,000 CMHA invested directly into my mental health when I needed it most.
This year, my goal is to give back by raising $1,000 for CMHA so they can continue providing critical support and access to mental health care for others who are going through tough times.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a world where mental health is met with compassion and understanding. Together, let’s make it safe to say, “I’m not okay” and know you’ll be met with open arms. 💚
