Mental Wellness Is Challenging. Talking About It Is Even Harder.

Like many people, I struggle with my mental health. Specifically, an anxiety disorder. I am one of the fortunate ones that have found the right support systems to manage that. This, unfortunately, is not the case for everyone who struggles.  I am growing and learning in how I can use my own journey, some vulnerability, and a willingness to talk to battle ongoing stigma and to help others. 

Physical fitness has always been an important way for me to keep balance. I am again taking part in The Pushup Challenge, completing 2,000 push-ups in 17 days to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
