About Our Challenge
In February, Students (and hopefully Faculty) of Selkirk College’s School of Environment and Geomatics are taking part in The Push-Up Challenge. We are challenging ourselves to complete a heap of push-ups between February 5-27, 2026 to push for better mental health outcomes in Canada.
As stewards of the natural world it can be overwhelming to find calm within the chaos of the world these days. I hope that by bringing this group of people together around this challenge I can foster a community that has the ability to support eachother through and overcome challenging situations. I also hope that these relationships can grow beyond the walls of the school and people treat others with the kindness and grace everyone deserves, for you never know who may be struggling silently, just looking for that sense of community to push through.

All proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada.
