About Our Challenge
I think I speak for everyone on our team when I say that working as a first responder has opened our eyes to an entirely new perspective of how mental health can affect individuals. Whether it be the people we help or the people we work alongside, it touches everyone. We're lucky to work for an association where mental health resources are readily available, however, there are so many individuals out there who do not have access to the same resources, or are battling a journey where they're hesitant to ask for help.
My team and I have close connections to friends, family, and co-workers who have all experienced a mental health crisis, some of whom have unfortunately lost their battle.
This challenge is dedicated to all of them, whether they're maintaining their mental wellbeing, undergoing recovery and treatment, or have been affected by mental health in any way.
If you're able to donate to the cause, or want to participate in the challenge with us, we'd all really appreciate it!
All proceeds go to the Canadian Mental Health Association to support mental illness recovery and foster positive mental health outcomes in Canada.
